Five “S”-sentials of Engineering & Construction Project Management
Speaker Biography:
Rosanah (Rose) Santos is a Project Portfolio Manager and a Professional Engineer for SaskPower. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a member of the Associations of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), with 18 years of experience over multiple industries. Born into a family where both parents are engineers, she has grown up in an environment surrounded by this profession. She is passionate about both Project Management and Engineering and loves to share this knowledge with others. This has been demonstrated through her Engineering Association volunteer work encouraging the younger generation to pursue careers in Engineering and Science. Joining PMI in 2006, Ms. Santos has previously served as a board member for the PMI-North Saskatchewan Chapter and currently as Director of Sponsorship. She is an active musician and has been a singer for 25 years, with many of those years as either a vocalist for a band or solo performer. She has been an emcee for Fiesta Filipino over the last three years, which is an Alberta-based cultural festival situated in the heart of downtown Calgary, where she grew up. She also has an active interest in developing young professionals through coaching and mentoring for positive impact.
