Presentation Overview: The world is changing; many innovations are disrupting the status quo.  Changes beyond our control have occurred and is forcing a different approach to getting things done?  What was thought to be standard and stable, may now be a thing of the past?  Some say that projects cannot be delivered as they used to be.  This presentation will review how the fundamental approach to project management can still be utilized in a disrupted world and will show that the principles remain in place and the basics are still needed.  Despite the many changes and impacts on the workplace and the workforce all is not lost, life can go on and projects can still be delivered.  Meeting expectations is still key for the sponsor, the client, and the customer.  Maybe things can be done differently?  Maybe we have new tools?  There are trending technologies that will impact people, processes, products and will be both exciting and challenging as they continue to evolve.

Presentation Learning Objective: The expectation is that the projects will still need to be managed; processes will still need to be followed; and expectations must still be met.  The project remains as a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result.  How we get there may just look a bit different.  After this discussion it is expected that the participants will see how project management approaches can still be used even in this disrupting world.
