Presentation Overview: Change and uncertainty in business and society have been profound since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. The amount of change has stretched markets, supply chains, organizations, and everyone at an individual level. The session will highlight some of the larger systemic changes that have emerged and share recent research. Then it will focus on supporting people, especially leaders, with the human changes that can be mitigated by mental fitness or positive intelligence (PQ). PQ is a synthesis of recent breakthroughs in neuroscience, cognitive and positive psychology, and performance science (EQ). It has been considered the’ X-Factor’ in Performance & Happiness. If you’re not physically fit, you’d feel physical stress as you climb a steep hill. If you’re not mentally fit, you’d feel mental stress, such as anxiety, frustration, or unhappiness, as you handle work and relationship challenges. 80% of people score below the minimum level of mental fitness required for peak performance and happiness. Dave will introduce this new science and body of research and share paths forward in growth that is relevant professionally and personally
