Are you really managing risk - follow up

News

At our PDD in April, we promised to follow up by providing a copy of Dr. Janice Thomas's slide deck for her presentation Are you really managing risk?

About the Presentation

Projects are risky business. Project Managers are tasked with managing this risk to limit project and corporate exposure. Project management training always includes sections on risk management. In fact, for many iterations the PMBOK contained more pages on risk management than any other topic. So, clearly, Project Managers know how to manage risk right?

Wrong! Unfortunately, research and experience tell us that many organizations do the bare minimum required to be risk compliant.

In this workshop, we examine best practices to assist with reducing project risk exposure and address the question: What should you do on your project to improve risk management today?
